Brand refresh of the spanish entertainment channel Factoria de Ficción (Fiction Factory).
My role on this project was to art direct and design a refresh of the channel’s brand, being responsible for a radical reinvention of the brand’s visual identity while maintaining their original logo. My main objective was to twist the original brand and give life to a fresh new identity, totally reinventing the brand and develop a whole new visual identity and visual systems suited to their audience.
For such effect I’ve reinvented the brand around the factory concept and incorporated a surreal mood to it, using the logo sphere as the “Fiction Factory” and developing an identity built around visual elements such as the factory cogs, conveyor belts, robotic mechanisms and other mechanic visual elements, ending on this surrealistic factory that creates fiction, imagination and excitement — The Fiction Factory.
This resulted on the creation of several TV idents based on thematic factories (action, comedy, generalistic, etc), static imagery and offline material.
